Very healthy chickpea and chicken recipe for dinner...
Soak half a cup of chickpeas overnight and the next morning boil it in a pressure cooker by adding salt to taste for three whistle (or according to your preference that how much soft you want) and keep it aside.
Now take 50grms of chicken breast and cut into small pieces and marinate it with lemon juice and salt, black pepper Powder and turmeric.( Tips: turmeric is very important ingredient in indian cooking because it has a anticeptic properties which is very important for your immunity in this tough situation like corona virus) for 10 mints.
Now slice one medium size onion ,green chillies, ginger( tips: again ginger is the key ingredient to increase your metabolism) one small size tomatoes.
Heat a pan, add one tbsp of mustard oil, when the oil is hot lower the flame and add half tsp of jeera seeds(tips: jeera is the key ingredient for your weightloss) fry it until light brown, add the marinated chicken fry it till brown now add the boiled chickpeas stir for a minute and then add the onions, green chillies, tomatoes. Stir it well now add salt according to taste, coriander powder, amchur powder( dried mango powder) and mix it well and sprinkle the boiled chickpea water on the mix and cover and simmer for 5 minutes. If you "like" you can add chopped coriander leaves on top . ( I really don't like it)
Now serve it hot on a plate and add some chopped onions and enjoy your meal😋
Conclusion
I used to eat this a lot during my weightloss journey, this was my favourite dish. Very healthy, rich in protein, very filling and trust me if you finish you dinner at 7pm you won't feel hungry after 2 hours, such a nutritious healthy dinner option.
