100% pure cow milk butter, very healthy and full of nutrients

Home made white butter from cow milk...

For making white butter we need I litre cow milk or Buffalo milk whatever you like (tips: of you want some nutritional value then go for cow milk) boil the milk on simmer for 5 minutes. Off the flame and let it cool down completely on the kitchen counter. After it is cool out will see a layer of cream on the milk and now without disturbing the cream or Malai put the milk inside the refrigerator for 1 hour. After 1 hour you will see the Malai on the milk has become thicker. Now collect the Malai in a air tight container carefully. Like the same way  you have to collect the Malai for 15 days and if you want to keep your cream or Malai fresh then collect and store it in freezer .

After 15 days take out the Mali or cream from freezer and wait till it comes to normal temperature.  Now transfer the Malai into mixing bowl or any large container where you can mix it properly. Add half glass of water to the Malai you have collected (normal water ) and start whisking  it with a whisk, spoon whatever you are comfortable with.  While whisking withing two minutes you will see the butter and the butter milk will be separated. The butter will stick to your whisk now whisk again and separate the butter. Now wash your hands here you have to use your hand. Take out the butter with hand and squeeze it with both the hands you will see that the water is getting separated while squeezing softly. After the water is separated keep it in another clean bowl. Now again take a portion of butter and squeeze it, separate the water and keep it in the other bowl.

If you want a smooth soft and shiny texture like my butter. Whisk the butter again for 2 minutes if you see that it is separating water then drain the water. Now you homemade butter is ready. A very healthy and pure option of having butter without any preservatives.

Remember the butter milk which was separated don't throw it. Add some black salt and roasted jeera powder and your masala Chaz or butter milk is ready. Serve it cold.
