Very healthy and tasty cheek pea and green moong sandwich recipe...



Ingredients:-

1/2 cup cheek pea.
1/3 cup green moong dal.
1 inch ginger chopped.
2 green chillies chopped.
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 medium size chopped onion.
1 TSP dhaniya powder.
1 TSP haldi powder.
1 TSP amchur powder.
1/2 tsp garam masala.
2 tbsp mustard oil.
Salt to taste.
1 tbsp lemon juice.
1 TSP jeera.

Two slices of atta bread
1 TSP of ghee.

Method :-

Soak the cheek peas and green moong dal overnight. Pressure cook the cheek pea and green moong dal until soft but not mushy. Drain the water. 
 Heat a pan on medium flame, add 2 tbsp of mustard oil, heat the oil properly turn off the flame and add 1 TSP of jeera.  Now turn on the flames.  Add the chopped onions, chopped ginger and green chillies, fry for 2 minutes.  Now add the boiled cheekpeas and green moong and fry for 2 minutes on medium heat. Now add salt to taste, dhaniya powder, red chilli powder, amchur powder, garam masala and fry for another 5 minutes on low flame. After 5 minutes it will become aromatic. Now add the lemon juice and turn off the flame.

Now heat a tawa apply ghee on both sides of the bread and toast them in the hot tawa until golden brown. Now put the cheek pea and moong mixture on a bread slice and make sandwich. ( If you want you can add mayonnaise or ketchup). your cheekpea and moong sandwich is ready to eat.
